What other differences are there between a continuation and a divisional application?

A divisional application is carved out of pre-existing specification/claims, while a continuation may present entirely new claims never before presented.  Moreover, a divisional should contain claims that are separate or distinct from the parent, while claims in a continuation may overlap in scope with those in the parent.
