What if I miss the deadline to enter national phase in a foreign country?

8/15/2017

You may still be able to enter national phase in that country, provided you are not more than two months past the deadline.  Most countries offer at least a two month extension under PCT Rule 49.6: Reinstatement of Rights.  Usually there will be some combination of a fee/declaration required.  Notable exceptions to this rule are Japan, Korea, India, and Mexico.
