Are infringing internet sales to various customers resident in the patentee's home state a sufficient nexus to allow a court in the patentee's home state to establish personal jurisdiction over the the alleged infringer?

1/28/2018

Mere internet sales are not enough to establish jurisdiction.  There has to be something else, for example, a sales representative, a local office, etc.  Short of that, the pantentee would likely need to bring suit in Company B's state or state of incorporation, otherwise, they would likely have to deal with motions for a  venue change and for dismissal based on lack of personal jurisdiction.
